The Blood Garden by Chad Wickwire Manuscript Review

Genre - Sci-fi/Fantasy

Rating 5 out of 5 stars

So as some of you might know besides being a reviewer I also have been known to proofread books. I usually do not do reviews on these books because they are in such a raw format and there is typically not a release date yet but one came across my desk I just had to say something about.

This book is by a new author that none of you have ever heard of but it was so good I had to say something about. The books mixes fantasy with mystery and suspense and a bit of horror.

The pretense of the book is about a guy that is hallucinating things and slowly being turned evil by a forces beyond his control. There are a lot of supernatural beings and trying to figure out what exactly is going on with him.

The whole time this is happening he is in a mental hospital and is under the impression that he is going insane. A dark man keeps appearing to him  with the impression that this is one of the hallucinations.

The ending was the best twist of all but as you all know I don’t do spoilers. I love twists at the end of books especially this one. As you probably can tell from some of the other books I have reviewed. This twist is awesome and leads you right into the second book of the series. Which is being written now.

This is book one of the Echoes Of Silence series (a five book series) and will be a must read for men and women when released. This was the type of book I picked up and wanted to read straight through to the end without stopping. Unfortunately I was unable to do that as proofreading makes me read slower than I normally would.

The release date is still to be determined but I will keep you guys updated on when that will be.
