The narrator was very dry and had only three voices. One for the Nazi’s, one for the Jews, and one for the women. I like when all the voices are just a tad different. Now with that nastiness done I loved the actually book and storyline. The author brought to light a whole new side of things about the war and especially people who fled Germany before the war even started. In the beginning the main characters have fled Germany years before the war started and are living in a refugee camp. All that changes though.  The Nazi’s get a hold of the refugee camp and turn it into a prisoner camp. While this camp is not a “death” camp they are shipping people to the death camps from it. Genre - Historical Fiction Rating - 5 out of 5 stars This book had a very slow start but once I got into it a bit I was wowed. This was a great book about the nurses of WW2 and how strong they were, especially when working on the frontlines, and behind enemy lines in this case.  This book is about four nurses that go on a secret mission behind enemy lines. They did not know what they were doing when they first started out. They are just told that there is a solider behind enemy lines that needed their aid. It turns out that they were to help a solider but also go on a mission to find the German Reich’s secret weapon known only as the Giant. They decide to accept this mission and the insanity of WW2 starts. This gives us a peak (although fictional) behind enemy lines and what would have happened had they been caught. Series - Kate Burkholder #13 Narrator - Kathleen McInerney Genre - Suspense/Mystery Rating - 5 out of 5 stars Narration - 5 out of 5 stars I can’t say enough good about this book! It was excellent, with a lot of twists and turns. Also, although I have read a few of the first books I was able to catch on quickly to what had happened in the books I had not read. It is definitely one that could be read as a stand alone. This continues the story of Kate Burkholder and her solving of Amish deaths. This one is about a girl that has been shunned from the Amish but came back into town and ends up murdered. There is blackmail and intrigue in every corner. The narrator who has done all the narrations for all the books is excellent! She keeps you on your toes as you listen and makes you want to come back for more. Genre - Fantasy Narrator - Christina Delaine Rating - 5 out of 5 stars Narration - 5 out of 5 stars This was a nice light hearted book about a psychic that has lost her spark and is losing interest in the craft. Then she discovers that she can read dogs thoughts and talk to them.  She never met her parents so as the book progresses she is looking for her mother. She is also a traveler that likes to wander from one place to another but keeps finding herself stuck in a certain small town. Always coming up with problems with her vehicle or something that she thinks she needs to stay in town for. The narrator is great, she just adds to the light and cheerful mood through out the book. I really liked the way she did the voices for the dogs thoughts. With a little romance and drama thrown in it is all in all a great book. Will she stay in the small town or move on? Narrator - Christie Moreau Genre - YA/Fantasy Rating - 5 out of 5 stars Narration - 5 out of 5 stars This book is an incredible coming of age story about two different girls. One that is just coming into her magical powers, and one that has had them most of her life but is taken over by the greed that comes along with them This book has many twists and turns and would be good for teens and adults alike. It is full of mystery and intrigue. It is set in a time where magic is real and kings can force common people to use their magics at their every whim. The narration is excellent and the narrator keeps the pace quick and easy, even listening to the audiobook at 1x speed. She also makes you want to keep coming back for more. This was one of those just one more chapter audiobooks for me and then it would be an hour or sometimes two later and I would still be listening. Series - The Phoenix Club book 2 Genre - Regency/Romance Rating - 5 out of 5 stars This book was very well written and I absolutely loved it! It is definitely one you can read as a stand alone if you have not read the first book. Although I loved this one so much I am going to go back and read the first one called Invitation so I can catch up a bit. All because of an assumption made by me. When I read the title I thought it was going to about all different types of vaping not just about the rise and fall of Juul. As a former vaper myself I thought it would be a good look into all aspects of vaping but I quickly realized it was all about Juul which I have never used. With that being said this was a very interesting book. I learned a lot about the technology of Juul and the consequences of vaping. I also learned some interesting things about Juul and how their company rose and fell quite rapidly. Even to the point that most of the major players are not even involved with the company anymore.
